…who was ready for the new year.
As I say goodbye to 2011 I am also saying goodbye to my sucky part-time job, VVC, my family, my friends, my puppies, my bedroom, and my Betty White calendar. Pretty much my whole life as I know it. I will still have all of the important people in my life, but they won’t be at arms’ length anymore. I will still come home to the desert sometimes, but most of my stuff will be in a dorm. I will no longer be working my ass off for no appreciation. I will no longer be going to school alongside stoners and career students. The beginning of 2012 is really a turning point for me. A lot is changing and it’s all good change. I can’t wait to start all of these new adventures. And I can’t wait to do it with the love and support of my family, close friends, and, of course, my boyfriend. Without these people I wouldn’t be where I am, and I am so thankful for everything that I have right now. Much love for all of you. Here’s to the new year.
